This was the mission patch handed out on the National Geographic mission lead by Dr. Ballard. Oddly, it's the only place I recall seeing the term "Lusitania Project" on any of the in-house paperwork.
3.1" x 4.0": Machine made, four colored stich work (orange, blue, white, black) on white grounding cloth. Legend: "LUSITANIA PROJECT 1915-1993" on obverse. Edge bound with blue thread, plasticized backing to prevent unraveling. Self-adhesive lozenge-shaped gold sticker "MADE IN TAIWAN" .5" long on back
No notice or maker's mark present..
Distributed on board ship "Northern Horizon" during course of mission. Continuously in the Author's collection since that time.
